Painted with love since 2021, these flowers began quietly appearing across Zurich extending like a Blumenwiese through the city’s streets and surfaces.
For Alberto Villafuerte (aka Not a Picasso), the flower is not decoration but a gesture: an offering of beauty, tenderness, and presence in shared space.
This Valentine’s drop gathers that dispersed act into a single moment — a work that carries the intimacy of the street into the private sphere, without losing its public spirit.

KALLISTIK is delighted to release BLUMENWIESE by Alberto Villafuerte. On the occasion of Valentinesday, Alberto has created a series of special, studio paintings of his ongoing public exhibition throughout the streets of Zurich.

The BLUMENWIESE series are available in two sizes, small and large. The works are painted on smooth cotton rag, presented with acrylic and spray paint. The small ones are in A4 format. The large ones are in A2 format. Each work is hand-signed by the artist on the front.

The artworks are available by application exclusively on KALLISTIK until 17:00 GMT on 13 February 2026.

All orders will be mailed with priority post (A-post) for arrival until Valentines day or can be picked up Haus der Kallistik, Zurich.
